🛡️ About SwordPath

SwordPath is a new, independent website about the history, construction and culture of swords. We launched in October 2026. We are not affiliated with any museum, university or retailer.

What we aim to do

• Answer common questions about swords clearly and accurately.
• Cite reliable sources — museum collections, reference works and scholarship — near the claims they support.
• Separate established fact, scholarly interpretation, disputed claims and fictional lore.

Who writes SwordPath

Articles are researched, written and edited by the SwordPath Editorial Team. AI tools may assist with research and drafting; every article is checked against its cited sources before publication.

We do not currently have external expert reviewers, and we do not claim professional credentials we don't hold. If a qualified specialist reviews an article in future, we will name them and their relevant background on that article.
